Jenny Rock
Jenny Rock has 22 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist and has been a Certified Rolfer for 9 of those years. Jenny’s main focus is bodywork that corrects structural and postural imbalances, AND work that effectively helps people heal from chronic pain and injury. She refers to her unique blend of Rolfing, Myofascial Release, and Neuromuscular Therapy as “medical massage.” Jenny is also one of a few people in the area trained in the application of Kinesiotape, a medical and athletic taping system that helps the body recover from pain, injury, and bruising, while also supporting the muscles and stabilizing joints. Additionally, Jenny has a BA in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, is a Certified Facilitator and Coach through The Field Center, a Certified Instructor for Global Relationship Centers, and is a Certified Coach through Coach University. With a background in personal development as well as bodywork, Jenny’s practice of massage is respectful of each person’s inner wisdom regarding their body’s needs, while also utilizing intuition to make every one’s time on her table the most productive time it can be. By combining her expertise and years of experience with each client’s inherent understanding of their own body, she works synergistically to help each person get the most out of their body. Jenny, her husband, and their 6 year old son, relocated to Harrisonburg from Central Florida last Fall.
